PEER REVIEW POLICY
The International Journal of Business Insights (IJBI) is committed to ensuring a rigorous, fair, and transparent review process for all submitted manuscripts.
- Review Model

- Initial Screening
All submissions undergo an initial check for:
- Relevance to the journal scope
- Originality and quality
- Ethical compliance
- Plagiarism (checked through reliable software)
Manuscripts not meeting these criteria may be declined before external review.

- Research design and methodology
- Quality of analysis
- Contribution to the field
- Overall clarity and presentation
Review outcomes include: Accept, Minor Revision, Major Revision, or Reject.
- Revisions and Decision
Authors revise manuscripts based on reviewer feedback and provide a response to comments.
The Editor-in-Chief makes the final publication decision, considering reviewer recommendations and quality of revisions.
- Confidentiality & Ethics
All manuscripts and reviews are kept confidential.
IJBI follows COPE ethical standards and does not tolerate plagiarism, data manipulation, or unethical research practices.
- Reviewer Responsibilities
Reviewers must provide objective, constructive, and timely feedback and declare any conflicts of interest.
- Appeals
Authors may appeal decisions by submitting a written justification. Appeals are reviewed by the Editorial Board.

ARTICLE RETRACTION POLICY
The International Journal of Business Insights (IJBI) is firmly committed to upholding the highest standards of academic integrity and ethical publishing. To maintain the accuracy, reliability, and credibility of the scholarly record, the journal may retract published articles under specific circumstances. Retractions are carried out in accordance with internationally recognized publication ethics guidelines, including those of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
Grounds for Retraction
An article may be retracted when:
- Significant Scientific Errors
Substantial mistakes are identified that invalidate the article’s findings or conclusions. This may include: - Clear evidence that the results are unreliable due to data fabrication, falsification, or other forms of research misconduct.
- Honest errors, such as miscalculations, methodological flaws, or experimental mistakes that critically affect the validity of the research.
- Redundant or Duplicate Publication
The article contains material that has been previously published elsewhere without appropriate citation, permission, or justification. This includes cases where authors submit substantially similar content to multiple journals concurrently or sequentially. - Ethical Misconduct
Ethical breaches that undermine the integrity of the work, including: - Plagiarism: Use of another person's ideas, processes, results, or words without appropriate acknowledgement, including misuse of confidential peer-review content.
- Improper Authorship Practices: Instances such as guest, gift, or ghost authorship, or disputes that violate authorship criteria as outlined by COPE.
- Unethical Research Practices
The study involves unethical research methodologies, absence of required ethical approval, manipulation of data, or violation of human or animal research standards.
Non-Compliance with Financial Obligations
In cases where authors fail to fulfil mandatory publication fee requirements—even after being given a grace period of up to 60 days—the journal reserves the right to retract the published article. This measure ensures procedural fairness and supports the sustainability of the open-access publication model.
